Respondents' attitudes towards tourism in protected natural areas: the example of Lonjsko polje

Protected areas have a primary role in preserving the biodiversity of region and are often valorized as resource tourism. The paper is based on results an empirical study conducted sample 160 respondents. main research goal was to determine opinions attitudes respondents about development rural tourism its impact conservation Lonjsko polje Nature Park (Park). show that 56.9% consider pollution caused by human activity has greatest loss, but also informing visitors responsible behavior way preserve Park. Respondents agree with statement "eco-friendly" sustainable form contributes nature conservation. It found age level education were not statistically significantly related respondents' perception parks. moderate view should be carried out parks (M = 2.85) or park pollutes environment disrupts landscape 2.61).
